Crocheters Crochet Pins, by Rachael dDL 9800 Crochet Stitch: Croch Crochet: 2 sc in each st around.

Knit Pins: Knit 2 pom poms and knit 2 rounds of pom-pom.

Work in stockinette stitch until work measures 3.75 inches (8cm) in diameter, stopping at last st with a slip stitch.

Sew Knit Pin in first stitch from the bottom.

Sew Sew Knitch Pin in second stitch from bottom.

Join to first st and knit in the first stitch of each round.

Continue in stock in the round to the last stitch of the round.

Join the two together in the center of the pin.

Place a crochet hook through the center and insert needle into the center.

Insert needle into next stitch.

Place stitch marker at the beginning of each row.

(Note: For this tutorial, we are working in stock, not crochet, as the pin will be holding the crochet pattern.)

Place a marker at each stitch marker.

(You can mark the next stitch with a crochet marker.)

With the marker now at the end of each st, turn the piece 90 degrees, starting at the stitch marker and work in stock stitch as usual.

Sew a 1st stitch around each stitch.

Repeat this until the desired length is reached.

Cropping Pins & Pins With Stitches In Front: For each stitch in the pattern, add a stitch to the front of the needle.

(This is called a “stitch in front” stitch.)

For example, in the Crochet Knit pin pattern above, the stitch we added was a stitch on the first row of the previous row.

With the stitch in front, crochet a stitch in each of the two stitches.

Now work a single crochet in the stitch you added and join to the previous stitch.

If you want to add another stitch to join to, work the stitch with the stitch on it.

(For this tutorial I added another stitch on each row.)

With this stitch in hand, join the two loops together and work a round of single crochet.

The next stitch should be on the top of the first, and the next two on the bottom of the second stitch.

With a slip of the yarn, turn right side out and work the next round of double crochet.

This is called an “over the top” round.

Work a single crochet in each stitch on top of your next stitch on right side, and repeat this round.

Now add a second
